GETTING TO THE ISLAND
Embark on a picturesque journey through the Strait of Georgia islands from Vancouver to Nanaimo via one of two ferry routes. Depart from Tsawwassen in Delta, a southern region of Greater Vancouver, arriving at Duke Point, just south of Nanaimo in Cedar. Alternatively, choose the Horseshoe Bay ferry, which docks at Departure Bay near downtown Nanaimo. Let this scenic ferry ride be the exciting prelude to your Vancouver Island adventure.

For a truly unique experience, opt for the spectacular 20-minute sea plane flight with Harbour Air departing from downtown Vancouver and landing right at the charming Nanaimo harbourfront. With regularly scheduled flights offering both convenience and breath-taking views of the Strait of Georgia, this experience is a must for the avid flyer!
